Mausoleums Niche Plates
Mausoleum Niche Plates come in many different styles and shapes. When shopping for niche plates for mausoleums you had better do your homework. Cemeteries will normally have restrictions on the type of mausoleum niche plates they allow.
For example, there is a cemetery in California, that has 15 to 25 mausoleums in their memorial park, which houses cremains/ashes of many loved ones. Some of the mausoleum niches that I have visited there have sand blasted niche fronts.
While other niches have etched lettering on bronze fronts. And still then, others take a solid bronze niche plate.
Some of the different finishes that I saw were, goldlite finishes, verdi antique finishes.
Solid bronze fronts were inscribed with Old English lettering, looks very nice but very hard to read today. Furthermore not to many people today can still read Old English lettering.
Marble niche fronts were with sand blasted lettering. Almost any type of font can be used, however it is best if deep cut carved lettering is used on the marble or granite mausoleum niche fronts.
At CemeteryBroker.com they have a selection of niche plates for mausoleums for you to choose from
