Design a Grave Marker for your Loved One
Let me share with you what I do when I either talk with you on the phone or sit down with your family to help you design a memorial fitting for your loved one.
I will ask you lots of questions to help you clarify how and for whom the memorial is going to be made for…
Some of the questions that I will ask you are the following:
What is the name of your loved one whom the memorial is for?
What are their dates of birth and death?
What affiliations/service clubs did they belong to?
Were they in the Military, what branch, what rank?
What hobbies/interest did they have?
Were they married and how many years?
Did they have children, how many?
Did they have grandchildren, how many?
They did they have siblings, how many?
What epitaph would you like to place?
Once we gather this information from you, next we will help you decide based on the information given us, whether the grave marker should be made in bronze or granite. The size of the grave memorial and material allowed is dictated normally by the cemetery, so we have to make sure that the correct information is available.
After determining the size and whether granite is the material being used to make your loved ones marker, then we have to choose a granite color. Continuing on we will help you select a marker design that is a fitting tribute, along with an appropriate font type that will need to be selected.
Determining the correct font type will help enhance the marker helping it to stand out. Furthermore we will assist you in deciding on the best layout of the wording on the memorial for your loved one.
If we are going to add a color porcelain photo or special laser imaging this will reduce the size of the font that can be utilized on your beloved’s grave marker.
The final process to complete the granite memorial is the epitaph, this requires thought from your family of what was either of importance to your loved one or to your family in selecting a memorial for your beloved.
We hope this information helps you in deciding what type of memorial is most suitable for your loved one. If we may help you in answering any other questions in your selection of a memorial for you love one please feel free to call us. Our toll free number is 1.877.723.5677. memorial books
