Lawn Crypts

What is a Lawn Crypt?

A lawn crypt is considered both a lawn and mausoleum burial together. When a lawn crypt project is developed it is designed with the intent to keep moisture out of the burial plot of our loved one.

How is it developed. First of all the area in which the lawn crypts will be placed into the earth is excavated. Then a gravel fill of about two inches is placed in the area for water drainage. After the gravel is placed, the preformed concrete lawn crypts are placed into the section being developed.

Afterward a plastic protective sheeting is placed over the top of the concrete lawn crypts, to keep the moisture from getting into the lawn vaults from the top. After the protective sheeting is placed the topsoil is placed over all of the burial lawn crypts.

Finally the sod is placed over the top of the topsoil. Because of the gravel fill and the protective plastic sheeting that is how the burial lawn crypt is kept dry.
